Our History

The Firm was born from the experience gained by Attorney Francesco Specchiale within the Associated Law Firm Scuderi Motta Pizzino, where he began practicing in 1996 dealing with Administrative Law and in particular public employment, health, local authorities, construction and urban planning.

On July 20, 1997, Mr. Specchiale was among the founders, at the Constituent Assembly held in Verona, of the National Association of Practicing Lawyers "ANPA" and served as Regional President of ANPA Sicily from August 1997 to July 1998 and as President of ANPA Catania from September 1997 to March 2000.

Since 1999, Mr. Specchiale, after having obtained a Master's degree in "Local Authority Management" at the University of Milan "Luigi Bocconi", starts his own Firm and provides professional advice both as a manager and as an expert for several Sicilian Local Authorities.

Since 2001, the Firm's activity has extended beyond the usual patterns of professional forensic activity and has dedicated a branch of it to the consulting of Public Entities and collaboration with important National scientific publishers and Professional Management Training Companies.

Since 2006, Mr. Specchiale has been President of the Study and Research Center Sicily "CSR Sicilia," a no-profit association composed of professionals and business managers that studies and promotes projects for the development of Sicily and regional local authorities in the Euro-Mediterranean area.

Since September 2010, also thanks to the synergies developed and tested within the Centro Studi e Ricerche Sicilia, the professional firm further extends its branches of activity to Tax Law and tax and corporate consulting, assisted by specialized Chartered Accountants, with whom it provides a wide range of multidisciplinary services for Public Entities and private companies.

Since 2016, the firm has been coordinating the legal and professional activities of SPC Consulting, a consulting and professional services company.

The consulting activity, since 2017, extends to Navigation Law, maritime concessions and collaboration with the Sicily Sea System Authority (ADSP).

Since 2019, the firm has been counseling for relevant multinational tobacco companies and handling concession files with the State Monopolies and the Customs Agency for the transit of Extra-EU goods.

Since 2022, Attorney Specchiale and SPC Consulting have been professional partners of “ Il Sole 24 Ore”.
